A Tribute to Autumn Leaves of 2015

While in Kirkland, awaiting the homecoming of my new granddaughter, Taryn Sunshine, I walked in the park and admired the falling leaves. Predominantly American Sweetgum, the leaves were fully engaged with the gusts of blustery wind. Here they are, those who fell first, fresh with morning mist, still valorous before the deluge of an autumnal rain, which would pound their fellows to the ground, atop them, to decay together and give life to other forms.
